Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index showed a fluctuating trend today, increasing its gains in the final hours.

The BIST 100 index started the day with an increase of nearly 1%. During intraday trading, the index fell to 9,618 points, but the buyers stepped in during the last hours, pushing the direction back upwards. As it approached the end of the day, the BIST 100 was moving around the 9,680 point range with a half-point increase. The index outside of BIST 100 saw a more limited rise of 0.2%.

Looking at sector performance, today the sports, food, and banking indices were the top gainers. Paper and electricity indices ranked as the biggest losers today. The top five gaining stocks in the BIST 100 today in the last hour were: PAPIL BJKAS ARDYZ OTKAR ISMEN The five stocks that experienced the most declines as the BIST 100 approached closing were: LMKDC ASTOR SMRTG ODAS KOZAL Across Borsa Istanbul, VERUS, ERSU, and SAMAT reached their ceiling prices and were among the top gainers. PRZMA, EMNIS, and AVGYO stocks hit their floor prices, making them the biggest losers of the day. YKBNK, THYAO, and ISCTR stocks were observed to have the highest trading volumes.

In the domestic currency market, as evening approached, the dollar/TL maintained a rise of 0.15% and was trading at 34.65. The Euro/TL was around 36.57 with an increase of nearly half a point, while gram gold was attracting buyers at 2,956 TL, reflecting a value increase of 1.15%.

In foreign stock markets, today European indices demonstrated a mixed outlook, leaning towards declines, while US indices started the day with uncertainty. The Dow Jones remained in positive territory during the first hour, while Nasdaq and S&P 500 were in negative territory.
