Kazakhstan/Zhamauov: The Date and Format for the Next OPEC+ Meeting Remain Unconfirmed

Forex - Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Energy Alibek Zhamauov stated that the date and format of the next meeting of OPEC+ member countries have not yet been finalized.

Zhamauov said, “According to the schedule, the next meeting is planned for December 1, but we fully contacted our colleagues yesterday. It has not yet been decided exactly where and in what format it will take place.”

He expressed that Kazakhstan is in close contact with OPEC+, stating, “We call them every day. We have slightly exceeded our plan this year, but there is a mechanism for a compensation plan. We have communicated this to OPEC and it is under discussion between us.”
