Hilton Signs Agreements for 10 New Hotels in Turkey

The statement said: "Among the newly announced agreements is the first Hilton ski resort located in Kars Sarıkamış and the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Bodrum. Under the Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton brands, eight new hotels will be opened in various locations across Turkey. Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced that it will add over 1,000 rooms to its portfolio by signing 10 new hotel agreements under its award-winning four brands: DoubleTree by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton by Hilton. Together with hotels currently operating and in development in Turkey, the company will serve more than 120 hotels.
David Kelly, Senior Vice President of Hilton Europe, expressed: “We are very pleased to expand our portfolio in Turkey with our four market-leading brands. We are in the most exciting period of our 70-year history in Turkey. Within the next year, we will open 10 new hotels and introduce three new brands to our guests. Furthermore, our efforts continue for the $80 million renovation of the iconic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.”

Bodrum Eskiçeşme, Tapestry Collection by Hilton Following the signing with Sumka Real Estate Investment Development Inc., the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Bodrum Eskiçeşme is planned to open in May 2026. This hotel will become Hilton's fourth property in Bodrum, one of the most sought-after holiday destinations on Turkey's southwestern coast. Located in the scenic Bitez area, just 15 minutes from the city center, the property will feature 55 rooms, including eight suites. Guests can enjoy various food and beverage options in addition to the main restaurant offering outdoor seating, along with a pool bar, beach bar, and lobby bar. The facility, which includes a fitness center, spa, main pool, private children's pool, and five swimming pools, will provide a peaceful accommodation experience for all guests.
DoubleTree by Hilton Kars Sarıkamış Set to open in the coming months, the DoubleTree by Hilton Kars Sarıkamış will be Hilton's first ski resort in Turkey under the agreement with Faras Construction Industry Trade Limited Company. The hotel will feature 84 rooms, including 18 suites, blending comfort and style. The lobby bar, restaurant, and fitness center designed for relaxation and enjoyable time after skiing will be enriched with a health club featuring an indoor pool, traditional Turkish bath, and treatment rooms. Guests will also enjoy the hotel's game room and equipment rental service. The hotel will host guests close to Sarıkamış's unique ski centers, where guests can easily reach the hotel entrance either by walking or skiing down from the ski slopes. Known for heavy snowfall from December to April, Sarıkamış offers a unique skiing experience with seven ski runs and 25 kilometers of trails, featuring the rare natural powder "crystal snow" found only in the Alps.
Hilton's Brands are Expanding in Turkey Hilton's midscale portfolio will continue to expand with eight new properties set to open in the next three years, each becoming the first Hilton hotel in their respective regions: Hampton by Hilton İzmir Bornova, expected to open in 2025 with 185 rooms, will be located near the main connecting road between Izmir's coastline and the rest of the city. Hilton Garden Inn Bitlis, situated just steps away from Bitlis Castle, will open in spring 2026 with 112 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness center, and two meeting rooms. Hilton Garden Inn Tarsus will be Hilton's first property in the ancient city and is planned to open in 2026 with 170 rooms. Guests will have access to an outdoor dining terrace with breakfast area and bar, four meeting rooms, and a gym. The new Hilton Garden Inn Pendik will open in 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey's largest metropolis, featuring 136 rooms, an all-day dining area, a lobby bar, a fitness center, and six meeting rooms. Hilton Garden Inn Antalya, located in the Aksu area of Antalya, will start hosting guests in 2026. The property will offer 116 rooms, a lounge, restaurant, bar, fitness center, and two meeting rooms. Amenities include a main swimming pool area, a private children's pool, and a children's play area. Hampton by Hilton Düzce is set to open in 2026 with 120 rooms, located a five-minute drive from the city center with two meeting rooms and a fitness center. Hilton Garden Inn Torbalı is targeted to open in 2027, featuring 122 rooms, a bar, and a fitness center close to the ancient city of Metropolis. Hilton Garden Inn Adıyaman is planned to become operational in 2027, offering 120 rooms along with 38 long-stay rooms, four meeting rooms, and a fitness center.
These hotels will cater to both business and leisure travelers, providing a sophisticated accommodation experience and unique amenities reflecting the different service standards of the two Hilton brands. There are currently 38 hotels operating under the Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn brands throughout Turkey. With the new agreements, additional hotels adopting a focused service approach will join Hilton's portfolio.
2025 Will Be a Milestone Year for Hilton in Turkey Next year, Hilton will celebrate its 70th anniversary in Turkey. In addition to ten new agreements across the country, Hilton will further strengthen its presence in one of Turkey's most popular locations with the Hilton Istanbul Airport under its flagship brand. While Hilton Hotels & Resorts continues to innovate in airport hospitality, the opening of Hilton Istanbul Airport in the summer of 2025 will establish Turkey's first airport hotel, reinforcing the company's leadership in the sector.
Additionally, the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, one of Istanbul's iconic structures, is currently undergoing a comprehensive restoration process. The pool area and several redesigned rooms have already started serving guests before the completion of the restoration, which is planned to be finished next year.
