Michelle Myers Appointed as TD Bank's New Global Chief Auditor

TD Bank Group announced the appointment of Michelle Myers as the new Global Chief Auditor, effective December 9, 2024. Myers will succeed Anita O'Dell, who has decided to retire but will continue to serve as an advisor until May 31, 2025.

Anita O'Dell, who has been with TD Bank since 2010, has held various positions, including Global Chief Auditor and U.S. Chief Auditor. O'Dell is recognized for her commitment to professional standards and governance, as well as her contributions to diversity and inclusion initiatives within the bank.

Myers joined TD Bank in 2022 and has served as Senior Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accountant. Her career includes significant auditing and finance experience, including a partnership at a public accounting firm prior to her role at TD. As a Certified Professional Accountant, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role, reporting to Bharat Masrani, Group President and CEO of TD Bank Group, and the TD Bank Group Audit Committee. Myers will also be a member of the bank's Senior Leadership Team.

In addition to Myers' appointment, Keith Lam will take on the role of Interim U.S. Chief Auditor. With over twenty years of experience at the bank, Lam has expertise in internal auditing and technology across various banking sectors. He will report to Myers and the U.S. Audit Committees and will join the U.S. Management Committee at TD Bank.
