TANKER REPORT - 10 Tankers to Transit the Dardanelles and Bosphorus Today
Foreks - In the Istanbul Strait, one of the most important routes used to transport oil from the Black Sea region to the world, tankers are not allowed to pass at speeds exceeding 10 nautical miles. However, there are no restrictions in the Dardanelles Strait.
According to a report received via email from Tribeca Maritime Services, a total of 10 tankers are expected to pass through the straits today. Strong winds of 6-8 magnitude are anticipated tomorrow evening.
